We help support missionary work in Taiwan through David and Sarah Clemente and their family.

In addition to our other ministry work we are also supporting "CLEAR BLUE WATER", a project for the construction of a well for clean and safe drinking water and The Buselesele Church, and School in Geita, Tanzania, Africa.
The first service held in the newly completed Buselesele Church was on December 6, 2009. The congregation included invited leaders from other local churches, government officials, Pastor Conrad Edmund Butoye and the members of The Buselesele Church itself. The total congregation numbered 55 women, 32 men and 102 children for a total of 189 people. Eleven souls repented and accepted Christ as their saviour that day.
Pictured at left, the congregation enjoys sharing food and fellowship after their inaugural service.

PEOPLE

The Evart FMC has partnered with the Tanzania church to accomplish several projects, being involved in one right after another. The main projects have involved building churches. The Tanzania church members work at making bricks and constructing foundations and walls while the Evart people fund the purchase of more costly materials, especially roofing. Together, they have constructed three churches over a four year period. Other projects have supplemented church ministries: Bible distribution, a church school, sewing machines and tailoring training.

Two crucial characteristics of Evart FMC's involvement have helped make this a fruitful partnership. One is having diligent communication about the projects through a designated contact person (our own Gerald Reedy). The communications are copied to FMWM leadership, keeping everyone informed. Another factor is a deep commitment to keep at this work. When Evart FMC saw how much could be accomplished with limited resources, their  vision expanded from one church to several. For the Tanzania partners, self-initiated, regular reporting and clear financial communications have contributed to the successful partnership.

We cannot forget God's providence in making this happen. But strong commitments on both sides have produced new places for God's people to meet for worship and discipleship.
